Half-Baked

After years of trying, I believe that I’m coming to realize that nearly all my ideas are just “half-baked.” I wish that it were not true, but it seems to be a reality that I haven’t figured out how to deal with just yet. I’ve got a folder on my computer called “WRITING” where I’ve been placing drafts of ideas and articles that I’ve hoped to finish at some point and share in this (or other forums). As I’m looking in that folder right now I realize that it keeps getting more and more in it, and less and less is actually getting finished.

I’ve decided this week that I’m going to go ahead and start posting half-baked ideas. I figure that they just might be valuable to someone in the state that they are in right now, and perhaps I can gain some insight or closure by just getting them out of my to-do list. I also think that some of them are good ideas, and I use many of the ideas right now in my own work, so it can’t hurt to just push it out there and perhaps sometime in the future when I’ve run out of new ideas I’ll worry about finishing them off.
