March 24, 2009Some Lady Hit Your Car8 comment(s)

When I left work today I found this note on my car window.

The note reads:

Some lady hit your car trying to pull in next to you. I got out of my car & she took off. I jumped back in, tried to follow her to get her license plate # and she sped off quickly and left the parking lot.

Sorry, I tried to help you but I couldn’t get her plate # for you. (over)

She hit it pretty hard on the left back end! 5:25 PM Triad Parking Building March 24th 2009.

I tried to check the parking garage security cameras, but they didn’t have anything on record that would help me find out who it was. I also found a huge dent on the driver side bumper. As I drove home, my car started to sputter and stall along with the engine light flashing. It turns out that the “Lady” did indeed hit the car on the left side pretty hard causing major damage to the muffler and catalytic converter on the left side.

I’m going to see if I can’t look into it more tomorrow, perhaps the parking garage camera has someone on tape screaming out the parking garage with someone on their tail.

Got luck man. I hat old lady drivers :)

Dude, that bites! Good luck with the investigation. Maybe they can match up badge swipe times with the incident time too, to narrow down the list of potential offenders.

Ouch! Sorry to hear it John. Let us know what you find out.

Is it your Jetta? That really sucks. Sorry.

176.5 Matt  added:

It seems odd that the individual who wrote the note did not provide any contact information or a description of the car. Maybe the person wrote the note because she was being observed by others and leaving a note is the right thing to do. But did she leave the information she should have?

How did your car look?

I despise dishonest people. That is horrible. I hope you find something that helps you solve the mystery. The note is classic.

Have to agree with Matt here. Seems suspicious. That stinks too!
