See and Do

The Eye-in-Hand icon manifests the bond between two essential human functions: sensing/observation (the Eye) and doing/acting (the Hand).

I love it. How long does it take you to bust one of these out?

It all depends. This image (See and Do) has about 5 or 6 hours into it, but some of the other images, such as “The Father of Television” have 4 or 5 times as many hours. A lot of it depends on the complexity of the composition and how much I have to re-create and tweak the composition. I’ll probably put another 5 hours into this one before I consider it “finished.”

What is your medium?
