How Much Money Does Google Have in Un-paid AdSense Accounts?
About 3 years ago, I thought I would experiment with Google AdSense, yes, I did the unspeakable and thought I could make a buck or two off of ads on a few different websites that I had set up. Because there are only 3 people who read anything on this site (no ads), and even fewer who read anything on the other sites that put the ad experiments on, I obviously don’t have the right kind of business setup to ever make any money at all with Google AdSense.
However, after just recently checking my AdSense account, it has slowly accumulated to the whopping sum of almost $70. That is only $30 away from Google’s payout limit! That’s right, they only pay you when you’ve reached a balance of $100. There have to be a million morons (like me) out there who thought they could make some extra cash pimping their site to Google Ads. We all made $3 or so in revenue over a couple years time, and now, Google is just sitting, laughing at all the money they’ve made and have never had to cut a check for.
So now, 3 years later, I’m feeling some hope that I might actually get to that $100 mark, and I’ll get my sweet, hard-earned cash from the Google Ad Monster. Maybe I’ll buy a bunch of junk food, a new font, or pay my hosting fees. Or, if I can get past the $200 mark by the end of the month, I think I’ll buy an IPod Nano, and give it away to a random commenter on this page.

Great to see you are still kicking. Just found your website while surfing this evening after watching a DVD called “10 questions for the Dalai Lama”. After being intrigued with the film….....and bored of surfing youtube ‘80 punkrock videos…...I hit a couple of Buddasim searches, surveyed a few google images, and voila…...all of a sudden there’s a beautiful Buddah drawn by John Dilworth…......and I say to myself….....hey, I think I egged a theater one time back in 1988 with that guy…......crazy wierd he’s drawing Buddahs….....btw…..very impressed with the drawings.
Cool stuff…...great to see you’re following your passion. Would love to go fly fishing with you next time I head out to those beautiful western mountains.
